Hi Friend!

I started The Academic Nurse channel to serve nursing students and teaching faculty. I am a doctorally prepared acute care NP with almost 20 years of academic and clinical experience. I have served as an Assistant, Associate, and Senior Associate Dean and am currently an Associate Professor.

It’s through experience that I discovered a gap! So many people have the same questions regarding navigating college. I spend hours every semester equipping students with the skills to complete their programs. Similarly, I mentor teaching faculty.

My purpose is to create content that answers those questions and to demystify nursing school for students of every level and teaching faculty. Really, any student or faculty of any type of program will find value in this content.
